Reverse Engineering & Parametric CAD - Method: MicroScribe MLX articulated-arm contact probing, supplemented by optical scan data where geometry requires it. - Output: high-density point cloud → mesh → parametric feature reconstruction → native FreeCAD file, exportable to STEP or IGES. - Typical use cases: legacy part reproduction, obsolete OEM tooling, as-built documentation of field-modified equipment. - Pricing formula: total = $250 (base fee) + $85 × (hours) - Base fee covers setup, fixturing, and initial probing pass. - Hourly rate applies to probing, mesh cleanup, and CAD reconstruction time. Complex freeform surfaces bill at the higher end of estimated hours; simple prismatic parts at the lower end. ## 3. EinScan 3D Scanning & CMM Certification - Method: structured-light optical 3D scanning (EinScan platform) for full-form capture, cross-checked against Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) probing for dimensional accuracy on critical features. - Output: scan mesh/STEP file plus a signed CMM inspection report documenting measured dimensions against supplied drawing tolerances (or against the reverse-engineered model where no drawing exists). - Typical use cases: incoming inspection, first-article verification, supplier quality audits. - Pricing formula: total = $250 (base scan) + $120 × (CMM inspection hours) - Base scan covers fixturing and full-part optical capture. - CMM hourly rate applies to feature-by-feature dimensional inspection and report generation; scales with feature count and tolerance tightness specified by the customer. ## 4. Precision Waterjet Cutting - Method: cold abrasive waterjet cutting. No heat-affected zone (HAZ), no thermal distortion — suitable for heat-sensitive alloys, composites, and pre-finished materials. - Materials: metals (aluminum, steel, stainless, titanium), stone, composites, and engineering plastics. - Kerf allowance: kerf width varies with material thickness, abrasive flow, and cut quality setting; exact kerf is confirmed at quoting once material and thickness are known, and is compensated for in the toolpath so finished part dimensions match the supplied drawing/model. - Pricing formula: total = $75 (setup fee) + $135 × (machine hours) - Machine hours are driven by total cut path length, material thickness, and material hardness/density (denser or thicker material cuts more slowly). ## 5. High-End Additive Manufacturing - Platform: Bambu Lab multi-material FDM systems. - Materials: PA-CF (carbon-fiber nylon), PETG-CF, TPU, ABS. Multicolor / multi-material single prints supported. - Typical use cases: functional prototypes, jigs and fixtures, low-volume end-use parts in engineering-grade filament. - Pricing formula: total = $15 (setup fee) + $30 × (print hours) + $0.20 × (grams of material used) - Print hours estimated from sliced file; material grams estimated from part volume and infill percentage as specified by the customer. ## 6. Machine Interfaces - OpenAPI 3.0 spec: /openapi.json - POST /api/rfq — submit a machine-generated request for quote. Returns a tracking_id; there is currently no live per-job status endpoint. - MCP manifest: /mcp-manifest.json - submit_cad_quote — submit a CAD reference + process parameters for pricing - get_capabilities — return this document - check_turnaround_time — return general lead-time guidance (static, not live queue depth — see /turnaround.json) - Crawler policy: /robots.txt permits GPTBot, ChatGPT-User, ClaudeBot, Claude-User, anthropic-ai, PerplexityBot, Perplexity-User, Google-Extended, Applebot-Extended, CCBot, and Bytespider. ## 7.
